Every year the practice runs a series of Flu clinics providing flu vaccinations for patients that are deemed to be ‘at risk’.
This is part of the national flu immunization programme which aims to protect those most at risk of serious illness or death should hey catch flu.
In the UK, the Department of Health recommends annual flu vaccination for adults aged 65 and over, pregnant women, those living in long-stay residential care homes, healthcare workers and carers, and all those aged six months and over with any of the following conditions:1,2
