Jo Hudson - Clinical Pharmacist

Our Clinical Pharmacist work as part of the general practice team to resolve day-to-day medicine issues and consult with and treat patients directly. This includes providing extra help to manage long-term conditions, advice for those on multiple medications and better access to health checks.

Wendy Den Bleker - Nurse Practitioner

Sarah Canfer - Practice Nurse

Particular interests are Family Planning, Women’s Health, Diabetes and Wound care. Trained to fit and remove intra-uterine devices, as well as working in the LTMC clinics, and with the On the Day team.

Chris Francis - Practice Nurse

Works with On The Day Team’, LTMC, Treatment room and Women’s Health but have special interest in Minor illness and Insulin Initiation in Diabetic patients. In 2008 the Practice became Research accredited and Chris became the lead 'Nurse Investigator', working alongside the GP who is the Principal Investigator.

Vanessa Bonner - Practice Nurse

Works in Long Term Management Clinic on a Wednesday. Lead Nurse for the Baby and Childhood Immunisations. She works in the Treatment Room and Baby Clinic on a Thursday and also does a Travel Clinic on a Thursday afternoon, giving up to date travel advice to our patients.

Elfreda Finbow - Practice Nurse

Qualified as an independent nurse prescriber since 2007.  She works in he treatment room covering both LTMC and Minor illness clinics. She is practice lead nurse for Infection Control and is trained in Women’s Health and Family Planning. She also runs a regular baby clinic and two travel clinics.

Karyn McBride - Nurse Practitioner

Works in the treatment doing dressings, vaccinations and injections. I also work as the Well Person Health Check lead and am involved in the LTMC clinics in both the surgery and in the community. I also carry out smears and baby clinics.

Harriet Piper - Practice Nurse

Our HCAs are trained in a variety of roles, which includes phlebotomy (taking blood), ear washes, wound dressings, and the taking of ECGs, as well as assisting clinical staff in various clinics.
